Acrosycn for Windows 1.3 is now available for download.  Two sync errors reported by several users have finally been tracked down to a bug in the third-party SSH library.  As a result, Acorysnc is now more robust than ever and should be considered production-ready.

    Release notes:

    • Fixed a bug that causes some random packets to be dropped and thus the 'unexpected flag' error
    • The same bug sometimes also blocks the ssh data channel for more than 120 seconds and aborts the sync
    • Copy from the selected profile when click on then 'New Profile' menu

Acrosync for Windows 1.4 is now available for download.  The biggest change in 1.4 is the ability to schedule download jobs.

    Release notes:

    • Sync modes are re-classified as Download, Upload, and Auto Upload, where Auto Upload is just Upload with the file system monitor enabled
    • Scheduler options are now applicable to all three sync modes
    • Email notification: send an email when sync is completed
    • Dry-run: simulate a download/upload without actually making any changes
    • Incremental snapshot can now be enabled for download jobs
    • File logging: choose a directory to store log files.  Log rotation is performed when the current log file is larger then the registry value 'LogFileSize' (under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acrosync\AcrosyncClient) which defaults to 10M, and log files other than the registry value 'LogFileExpirationDay' (default is 7) will be automatically removed
    • Handle deduplication reparse points as if they were regular files (as opposed to bailing out in 1.3)
    • Add an option to continue the sync job in presence of a connection error

  • Acorsync for Windows 1.5 is now available for download.

    Release notes:

    • Acrosync can be configured to run as a Windows service if the installer is run with administrator rights.  Please refer to the User Guide for details for this feature
    • Optimized memory usage for large directory trees
    • Many other minor bug fixes and improvements
