Synology NAS - DSM 6.x Upgrade Troubles

Just upgraded to Synology DSM 6.0b from 5.x.  

I can connect to root@ip via SSH tunnel without issue (Putty), but for some reason I can't establish a connection with the Windows client after the upgrade. Logs show the error below:

2015/10/22 14:05:34    Uploading E:/Users/riosra/ to //volume1/NetBackup/
2015/10/22 14:05:37    rsync command: rsync --server --modify-window=2 --out-format=%n --links --recursive --inplace -tude. . //volume1/NetBackup/
2015/10/22 14:05:37    ERROR: user has disabled/expired

Doesn't seem to be a login problem bc I can run the rsync commands. Validated Synology settings as per https://acrosync.com/support.html

Have  no idea what to try next.

Any help would be appreciated...
