Acrosync hangs after ~15 minutes of syncing

Acrosync hangs after about 15 minutes of syncing.
My system:
- Windows 10 machine with Acrosync 1.5
- Debian machine

* Username / password works
* Sync over SSH
* Syncs starts and runs for about 15 minutes

Acrosyncs stops and the MB/s and time left in the lower right corner is gone blank
I can kill the acrosync, and restart, and it will continue from the same point

The local directory consists of about 1TB picture files

The memory footprint is about 50MB when acrosync hangs (no disk / cpu activity)

Is there any known bugs that can explain this ?

  • If you're not running the latest 556 build, please download the latest installer from our website and try again.

    If you're already on build 556, it would be very helpful if you can send me a dump file when Acrosync hangs.  To create a dump file, start Task Manager and then right click the Acrosync process and choose 'Create dump file'.

  • It's the 556 build. Sent a dumpfile "support2015@acrosync.com".

  • Thank you for sending the dump file, which shows the ssh channel was blocked and Acrosync couldn't send file blocks.  Which version of openssh server are you running on your debian machine?

    The default ssh library used by Acrosync is libssh2.  Acrosync ships with another ssh library, libssh.  You can try to switch to libssh by setting the registry value HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acrosync\AcrosyncClient\UseLibssh to 1. If you set it correctly you'll see a log message saying 'The libssh dll has been loaded' when Acrosync starts up.

  • The openssh-server version is  1:7.2p2-4ubuntu2.1

    I have added:
    ClientAliveInterval 3600
    ClientAliveCountMax 5

    to the sshd_config and turned on debug1 for logging. I think this will solve the problem. I'll do a testrun tomorrow again.
