Acrosync doesn't auto start profile

New user here using licensed Acrosync v 1.7
The only way to get Acrosync to run a profile on startup is to do it manually. I tried setting the autostart to 1 in the registry, but that did not do it.
I use Auto Upload and want Acrosync to run that profile at startup.
There is no setting in the GUI for Auto starting a profile.
I noticed there is a gray pyramid in the taskbar when it is working. That does not appear until I run the GUI.
How can I get my profile to auto start?

Also it looks like the Acrosync service stays in the paused state. Is this normal operation?

Also, the GUI has no place to enter email info?

By the way, great program. Thanks

  • You can verify auto start configuration by checking if the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run has an entry for Acrosync (with -a as the option).

This makes sure that Acrosync will run automatically after logon, but for a profile to be automatically started, the -a option must be passed and the check box for the auto start option in the scheduler dialog must be enabled.
