I can't exclude AppData

I've tried AppData/* and /Appdata, but on one machine it copies everything underneath, way too many chrome cache files and other trivia.  On another machine, AppData/* seemed to work.  I tried what the user guide says, /AppData, and now it's copying all of AppData.  Call me a little confused.
Both machines are on Windows 10, version 1909; the remote is Fedora 31.

    Got it figured out!  I used space as a delimiter and took out the commas.  Now all is well, at least on the badly misbehaving machine.  I'll test the other one in the morning.
