Unpexpected Flag error

Getting Unexpected Flag errors. Was working fine up until today. I have directories with many files (hundreds of thousands). It seems it gets to a file, throws that error, and stops. If you Start again, it starts back up and continues for a while (including the file where it left off). Then it errors out a few minutes later.

This is on v 1.7 Pro (Win 64).

Not sure what I should do.

Thanks

  • P.S. It's a different number each time. 202, 222, 30, 11, etc.
  • An unexpected flag indicates the network data stream has been corrupted.  Are you using the 'via ssh' mode?  This error happens more often with the rsync daemon mode (when the 'via ssh' option is not checked).
  • Hello,
i got the same problem as roverradio.
    SSH is active.
Currently I keep pressing "Start" and then it keeps on syncing for a while.
I would be happy about a retry function.

This is on v 1.7 Pro (Win 64).
  • Some users found that restarting the server may help in this case.

If the reboot doesn't help, try switching to a different ssh library. Acrosync by default uses libssh2, but if you set the registry value HKCU\Software\Acrosync\AcrosyncClient\UseLibssh to 1 (or HKLM\... if you installed Acrosync for all users), you'll be using libssh instead.

If you set it correctly you'll see a log message saying 'The libssh dll has been loaded' when Acrosync starts up.
