Backing up virtual machine

Hi,
I'm testing acrosync to backup my virtualmachine from my laptop. specially harddisk files *.vmdk. Sizeof .vmdk file is 122 GB!

Currently acropro shows that it's taking  140H to complete job. I'm wondering will it continue after my laptop resumes from hibernate?
or does it start all over again? Can't actually stay 5 days in same location .
Or should I split large files

    The rsync algorithm is very slow when transferring such large files, because the rolling hash has to be computed once for each byte.

    I would recommend my other software Duplicacy (https://duplicacy.com/), a modern cloud backup tool that is more suitable for backing up vm files that Acrosync/rsync.
