#8194 error happened

Hi All,

I just found a system error when using shadow copy option to sync. Anyone else saw this too? What can I do to handle this?

Server: Windows 2016 Error ID 8194

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error querying for the IVssWriterCallback interface. hr = 0x80070005, Access is denied.

. This is often caused by incorrect security settings in either the writer or requestor process.

Another user had the exact same error which seemed to go away after a reboot.

It seems not work for me. I did some research. It is said I should modify the registry, but I am not sure about it.

Last error: No error

If the command reports that all writers are operating without errors, this means that the error condition is not writer-related. In this case, you should contact the backup software vendor that created the VSS requester application.
