Client / Server

Hi,

Is there any chance of making Acrosync a client/server application?
Personally, I would like to be able to set it to a "server"mode with incoming ssh on one machine, and on the other machine have it running in client mode connecting via built-in ssh to the first "server"machine.
I think this would be a great all in one program if it could be done.

    We're going to build a server version, but it will be a separate application, and accept non-ssh connections only.  Would that be useful to you?

    No, when you connect directly to the rsync port (873), the connection is not encrypted.  We'll consider ssh support in a later version for Acrosync Server.

    This would be extremely useful to me!  I would use it over VPN so I'm specifically looking for a server/client solution that would use port 873 and is not already encrypted. The stand-alone server option would allow me not to have to run the rsync daemon via command line on the server side.

    Haven't started working on it.  may take 3 months at best.
