Profile naming

edited October 2014 in Acrosync for Windows
Very small feature suggestion:  As far as I can tell, acrosync names profiles based on some algorithm involving the source home directory and other things.  I can see ending up with a lot of profiles, I think that is fine as a default, but, if I create several profiles with different file and directory selections, schedules (as things evolve), etc., it would be nice to be able to rename them to names that have better mnemonic significance to me.

I do not consider this high priority, just something to think about when the occasion presents itself.

  • Right now the profile name is just the last path component of the local dir.  I agree renaming should be made possible, especially when you want to start a profile from command line in which case having a unique name is important.

I'll try to get it into the 1.0 release.
