I was testing warious settings for backing up shares on a W2012R2 serveur in France to a linux one.
When the source profile contains "é", the profile run (with creating VSS) but it halt immediatly saying "profile up to date".
In destination only "lastsync" soft-link is present, no data were uploaded.
If I remove thoses "special" characters the profile works like a charm.
For subfolder or file with thoses charcacters their are copied.
I don't known it this is linked but on the linux box with a terminal (putty) in UTF8 encoding all filename with accent are shown with '??', like : Activit??s for Activités
I can do test or capture if this can help.
