Hi, Good day been searching Rsync apps and stumble in your site. I have it but not yet tested if ever this Apps would work between windows OS and backup FreeBSD firewall?? and also looking for guild.

    I don't have a FreeBSD machine, but it looks like FreeBSD requires ECDSA by default which isn't supported by libssh2.  So the answer is probably no.

    Good news: I tried running Rsync to a FreeBSD server (9.2-RELEASE) and it worked without any obvious problems or surprises.  No guarantees, obviously, but it appears to work.

    Thanks for the clarification.  Somehow I was thinking of SSH login with public key authentication when I answered the question.  For SSH login with password there shouldn't be any problem as confirmed by you.
