I have Acrosync installed as a service and it is working except for shadow copy. I get the following error
2015/12/30 03:00:43 VSS_INIT CoInitialize failed
2015/12/30 03:00:43 RSYNC_VSS Failed to create a shadow
copy of 'D:' -- continue without VSS
Running the profile directly from the GUI and shadow copy works fine. I am guessing it is because the service is running with the system account and it needs to run with an account that has admin privileges. If this is so will running it with a administrator account work?

Done. If it doesn't work tonight when scheduled I'll let you know.

It didn't work. I stopped the AcroSync service and changed the logon to use the administrator account (administrator) and restarted the service. It is logged in using the administrator account but the Volume Shadow copy did not work.
