Ran a Dry Run from a large source folder (600GB, 1.5M files) to a new destination folder. When it completed, I noticed Acrosync was really slow in response to my mouse operations. Checked processes and Acrosync was sitting at over 0.5GB memory. Closed it and restarted it. Memory usage went to minimal and it was responsive again. Did a "real" rsync with the same folder selects. The rsync did not complete properly due to "rsync channel has been blocked" error, but it had ran for five hours and when I checked the Acrosync memory in the morning it was at a reasonable 36MB. I have not run any additional Dry Run tests to see if i can reproduce it, but thought I would mention my experience since it was my "first impression" while doing a trial of the software.

The only change wrt the blocking is that the timeout has been increased to 600 seconds from 120 seconds.
