Download - No Log File Reporting

Hi,

Like others I am interested in log outputs to a file and would love to see the application run as a service. Is this possible?

Currently I am seeing the following problems:

  1. if you specify multiple profiles they don't all run simultaneously I can only get 2 profiles to run concurrently. is there a way to get all profiles to run at the same time?
  2. The Download profile does not generate log output, but the backup profiles do

  • Logging to a file will be possible in version 1.4.

Running as service is probably not going to happen soon.  This is mainly because I've started working on an rsync server which will be a Windows service and hopefully will be a more flexible and more powerful backup solution than Acrosync as a client.

I don't know how you can run 2 profiles concurrently because it is designed to be one profile at a time with the GUI.  The only way to get around it is to run the profile in command line mode using the -p option in which case the singleton rule is not enforced.

Can you give more details on the download profile not generating log problem?  I haven't never seen that before.
