No log messages when run from command prompt

When I run Acrosync V1.2 from the command prompt (as admin) there are no messages output to the console.

C:\Windows\system32>time /T
03:54 PM

C:\Windows\system32>C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Acrosync\AcrosyncClient64.exe -p "Daily Shares"

C:\Windows\system32>time /t
03:54 PM

Watching task manager I see Acrosync run for a few seconds but nothing is written to the console. There should be a way to specify that log files get written to a disk file especially with the ability to run Acrosync from the command line.

  • Sorry for not catching this bug and obviously I was testing a wrong version.

I've fixed it and uploaded the new installers.  Let me know if there is anything that still doesn't work.

Redirection to a file should work now.

  • I just tested with version 1.3 and no messages are getting written to the console. All I get is a single blank line or maybe a carriage return when the job ends.

It works perfectly for me.  Are you running from a DOS command prompt?  Is it build 462?

Can anyone else confirm it is working (or not working)?
  • I am running version 1.3.462 on Windows Server 2012 R2. This is what I get

    C:\Users\Administrator>C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Acrosync\AcrosyncClient64.exe -p "Daily Shares"

    C:\Users\Administrator>
