  • Yes. If I connect without SSH, it runs for 25 minutes and then stops by a timeout (server closes connection), which is probably not related to the original error.Do you have something in mind?

  • Addition: There were some hardlinks that I didn't understand (I'm new to unix systems). The active daemon is running the newer version.

  • How do I find out about the version? Rsync server is running on a QNAP TS-431P2. The server is activated as part of the QNAP HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) package, version 3.0.190829.
