Is is possible to make this 120 or 600 seconds as an option the user can set? Also the 600 is not enough for me and most sync operations are interrupted because of the 600 second limit.

it was an Anti-Virus-Scanner problem: it was not shown that the program was blocked. Acrosync works fine as admin :-)

same issue after rebooting: sometimes I can browse all remote folders, sometimes I can browse only folders which have been created doing a sync with acrosync before. Anyway now I know the syntax and can manually enter the remote folder.
